Weekly Picks #1

This is a new type of post I'm starting where every week I'll post my favourite items on Stardoll that week.

First up is the Selene Playsuit from the new release of Nelly.com. I adore this as it works perfectly as a playsuit or can be combined with skirts to make a dress! I've been wearing it loads and it's definitely a must have from the newest Nelly.com collection.

I also think the Staple White Tank Top from Bonjour Bizou is a must have too! The only downside is it's no longer in plaza and you don't see it for sale much. But it's definitely worth adding to your wishlist!

Another great item from the bazaar is the Patent Leather Bag Fuchsia from DKNY. I love the shape of it and the colour works well with lots of other things in my closet!

One of my latest starbazaar finds is the Junko [dress] from Stylein. It was definitely the most expensive item in this selection but definitely worth the 67sd considering the brand and also how versatile it is. The only downside is I have to resize it to get it the size I prefer but it's just fine as it is!

The last item is from the newest issue of Callie's Picks, the Burgundy Shoulderbag has actually been on my wishlist so for Callie to rerelease it was a bit of a dream come true! I adore the colour of it and how it doesn't completely get in the way like other shoulder bags tend to! It's certainly worth buying as I think it will be an Autumn staple for me.

Strike a Pose Review

As someone who missed the first collection of Strike a Pose I have been waiting for it's second release. When Stardoll gave us sneak peeks yesterday on their youtube channel I had high expectations and the second collection of this gorgeous store definitely did not disappoint...

 

Filled with oversized jackets and cardigans galore this release is perfect for the colder months, hey, your doll has to keep warm too!

Something that I find seperated this from a LE collection is the prices, the first collection had good prices for pieces as desirable and limited as they were and this collection didn't let us down on that front with the priciest item being 140sd.

Not only is this filled with gorgeous clothes for both the girly girl and the tomboy it also includes a male outfit, which is something we've seen popping up in some Limited Edition collections recently. 

There isn't much to say about this except that I love it, I also love being able to buy many of the bags from the poses (great if you like making DIY poses!) and also different arm positions!

Now I've finished rambling it's time to show you my picks from this collection:

I simply had to buy both the oversized jackets, I absolutely love them and there's not enough off shoulder/oversized jackets on Stardoll!
The Breezy Skirt was one of the items I knew right from the start that I wanted, it's just so... me!
The last two items I got were the shopping bags and an arm pose. I felt my outfit looked a bit weird without the arms so I got it! I also adore the shopping bags, something I can never get enough of on Stardoll!
